i wear a ponytail with my bucket as well, and the ecrin roc works great for me. (i wear my ponytail high.)

not true. i've worn leathers on all of my volcano climbs and aside from being a bit chilly at times no real complaints.

the ecrin roc rocks ... despite its weight. i haven't been able to find a lighter one that is as comfy. really depends on how they fit your head. i'd go to a shop and try a few on ...

pretty much the same way you put 'em on other skis. they make loops big enough these days.
