that's why i hate climbing with ovals. what a waste of precious climbing time when you have to flip the biner around.
the neutrinos feel like keychain biners. i believe their opening is smaller than a "normal" biner as well. and maybe it's just me but it's weird to have different sized biners on your rack (aside from lockers).
i stand corrected, but in my defense shipoopi wasn't on webster.com. i saw him give a slide show somewhere a few years back. he opened with a bunch of dumb blonde jokes - himself being a blond. funny guy.
that's what i thought! but the glass people are outside my office building fixing it up right now. the good thing is it was cheaper than i was expecting. for whatever that's worth. hopefully the creeps will use eggs next time.
that f'ing sucks. wtf? getting your stuff stolen really bites. i just don't get how people can have so little respect for others. what a shame to have to keep such a tight rein on your trust these days. bummer.
everyone's okay. i'm assuming everyone was asleep when it happened. apparently someone decided it'd be great fun to drive around an otherwise quiet and safe neighborhood and take out rear windshields. i saw two other vehicles that had been hit this morning but i'm guessing there were more. i don't have comprehensive insurance so that sucks. and there's glass all over my car. and the only thing i got out of it was a big ugly rock.
my bf really likes the dovals his sister gave him. they feel pretty good and might be a nice compromise if you want some oval-ish biners without going totally oval.
i use dmm prowires and kong heliums. they both rock ... but not for aid. i find that for the most part i really don't like ovals except for racking. i would also give a thumbs down to the neutrino - they just don't feel right. find something that you like.
