  1. i really like the mythos for crack climbing. awesome shoe for all-day climbs. but sometimes climbing cracks just hurts - that's just part of crack-climbing. technique helps, though!
  2. huh?
  3. i think the biggest sts tip loop is 83mm and the tele daddy tips are a whopping 126mm ... so you're probably going to have to make your own.
  4. i was going to say squamish.
  5. yeah, watch more tv.
  6. where's my groaning graemlin???
  7. just don't run over any ducks over there!
  8. erock in leather chaps?
  9. climbed whorehouse hoses on tuesday. beautiful weather; beautiful venue. stairway wasn't looking too fun to do with all the new snow on it. my sunday, wednesday, and today were spent in the ouray ice park. can't get enough of that place!
  10. yikes, dude. watch out for wood!!!
  11. that's hilarious ... and so true.
  12. that's worse than showshoeing!
  13. they're working out fine. both the boots and the sticks are a bit stiff to learn on, but i'm getting there. i can "rip" the groomers, but i still got a ways to go on the bumps and the off-piste deep. the pe's are really an amazing ski on and off piste and in and out of the park - yum! (only wish i had alpine bindings on them many a time.) i can ride switch a little, but i can't do it for long or i bite it. well, i bite it pretty often trying to get from switch back to normal anyway! steering switch with floppy heels is rather ... um ... difficult. my favorite's the half-pipe, though. can you come down here and teach me how to ride it proper?
  14. geez, dru ... always good for a laugh!
  15. is there any ice there? man, it's been a long time since i've been to smith!
  16. nice visual, dru. did you have to skin in for the approach?
  17. mmm ... i like a february fish. and this winter has been the shit!!!
  18. maybe you should do a little research and think about what your skills and abilities are. mount rainier can be fairly serious business.
  19. don't you mean a basic avalanche class? i mean, it's not really a guiding class, is it?
  20. that's not true erock. the 1080 is awesome and i have demo'ed a buttload of high-end skis. but i'll go with you on the rest of their line to some extent or another. especially those pocket rockets - freaking noodles. salomon makes great skis to learn on, and for those who aren't that aggressive or don't like to ski crap they seem to work just fine.
  21. the clipfix work fine on my twins.
  22. if you're an advanced/expert skier you'd probably get more out of the 10's.
  23. i think cj's got it. every time i've checked they didn't have them in stock and they wouldn't let me backorder. gotta go to the source for the pro deals ...
  24. nice, mike! and number 14 went to dean potter.
