  8. I just want to get to a page start and boost my numbers. As far as I know AlpineK seems cool, I wouldn't have been smokin' the kind if someone was put out, but If I were sleeping in the hut and needed a bong toke latenight style, I doubt that scott pteryx would have been around for an alpine start!
  9. Maybe this will get to lucky page 13... And where is hikiowa, I have a bone to pick about the name....
  10. Maybe I can get a page start! I think I at least deserve one over Dan larson....

Good call Doc. It seems as though W did go to the U after all. It's all about friendly rivalry. If the Huskies win I'll even pony up for a pitcher of beer to W, at the next pub club! And maybe vice versa? anywho.... GO COUGS!!!!!

At least the Cougs don't prance around like they are number one EVERY year like the Huskies. I have never heard of a 7-2 team being so bad. I can't believe that the dogs are even still in the top 25. This year they suck ass, and suck ass bad, it's only obvious.
  17. holy crap! there's much free time on this lazy Friday!!!

I've never seen the EWE-dub ever make so many excuses like they did after meeting the BEEVs. I spent 6 or 7 of the best years of my life as a Coug, and I'm pretty sure that I had a good time there. BTW I'll take a cold Milwaukie's Best and a box of hostess powdered donuts any day over wine and brie!!!

Four alumni were climbing a mountain one day. Each was from a different Northwest School, and each proclaimed to be the most loyal of all fans at their alma mater. As they climbed higher, they argued as to which one of them was the most loyal of all. They continued to argue all the way up the mountain, and finally, as they reached the top, the OSU Beaver hurled himself off the mountain, shouting "This is for OSU!" as he fell to his doom. Not wanting to be out done, the UO Duck threw himself off the mountain, proclaiming "This is for U of O!". Seeing this, the Cougar walked over and shouted "This is for WAZZU!", and threw the Husky off the side of the mountain.
  20. Beck-Dog, My buddy is givin' you a call. I even saw the house, it looks pretty big/nice. latet tater, sean
  21. I think that we all know the Vertical Limit was the most accurately protrayed climbing movie ever. I can't wait for the sequel, maybe they will document the "real" way that Everest is climbed... get dropped off at basecamp at 3 in the afternoon, scramble up to the top and be back before suppertime! Ahhh the great sport of mountaineering...... :moon
  22. Cavey, I also emailed teamlilloet, although that was over a week ago... If I hear from paul, I also will post info... sean
  23. my two all time fave's were The Tick (cartoon version) and The Eek the Cat Eekstravaganza... Although I would also give a healthy shout out to Buck Rogers in the 21st century (wilma dearing in spandex[sportclimber babe?]) and Battlestar Galactica!
  24. mattp, thanks for the ride to Issaquah! It was much appreciated. Doc, thanks for the ride back in. It also was much appreciated. sean
  25. Yes, one of the best views around the alpine lakes. I did the same route 2 years ago and camped in the basin. Also toyed with the idea of climbing the Volcanic Neck, down the other ridgeline from Bean.
