Yeah, I know you guys don't give a crap about the white water stuff, but my web site is featuring Peter Spires today on the interview at noon. He is the founder of Bliss Stick kayaks, he's pretty cool...Pat is also on live until and I belive he is spouting Dwayner and Popes dating advice, if you have anything you want on the internet now is the time to email spokeradio.com...
and next week will be the first climbing show with a surprise special guest.
I've had a Nikon N70 for about a year and a half now, It's pretty light for an SLR and I just use a cheap 28-80 zoom (I wont cry too mcuh if I have to replace it) and a 50mm. I also usually carry a small aps camera that has seen better days, but refuses to take the kind of pictures that would make me have to replace it...And If weight is not an issue I also carry a tripad and a manual camera, lately I have been using my grampa's old minolta sr-202, it's heavy but works great! I use either the velvia or Kodak's new select slide film.
I'll probably show up in Tacoma, If anyone else will be ther now, but what about changing the Tacoma venue to the coffee muc shaped place, is is jacobs java jump???
If it has Tavern in the name, I'm sure I'll like it, although I am more inclined to The Goldfish Tavern!!! But Jacks sounds cool if I can leave work before 9 or 10pm...
New Job, no time, Closer to ChrisW. Guys, I'm now stuck in Edmonds for atleast 10 hours a day, I'll vote for Issaquah this week although, my schedule is kinda messy lately...Anyone know of any good bars in Edmonds...

And futhermore, If they would have walked another half mile and they would have been to the car. What were they camping there for anyway, were looking to get an alpine start to the tooth????
That's kind a DICK move. I hate snowboarding ice machines too, but come on I think letting him drop would have been pretty self centered and mean. I personally would have sniped him with a high caliber rifle, then he would have fallen lightly to the ground.
I would also seriously like to say, that the stuff the "sponsored" climbers wear may not be what it seems. Some have one-off specialty gear...
I've been involved with kayaking and I know for sure the boat the Tao Berman uses is HALF the weight of the "retail" version, but it's lifespan is very, very short. these companies have to deal with issues that if a coat or pants don't last long enough they get a poor rep....
The average consumer would not deal with a jacket that lasts one climb.
