You can breed new traits in in 10 generations of fruitflies or so but no one has yet evolved a whole new species in the lab. However I note that due to the higher mutation rate of mice living on the Chernobyl site they apparently cannot interbreed with mice from outside the site now due to random genetic drift, making them apparently qualify as a separate species. I like my digital for taking quick pics but for anything "archival" I use my slide cam and I'm not gonna shell out for a really good digital until digi quality equals or exceeds slide quality. Just my own personal opinion

Tying in with a Either tie in with a clove hitch, or use a daisy knowing its limitations, or get a METOLIUS PERSONAL ANCHOR SYSTEM that is fully rated on all loops. Daisy pockets are only rated to 2kN. The daisy as a whole is rated equal to any other sling.

I can't believe your buddy claimed he'd never heard of Iain! I could tell he was worked when he fell off Honeyman p1 with his pack on. How was the walk off anyway?

The effective resolution of a single slide is equal to a digital image of approximately 40 megapixels. The 40 megapixel camera is probably 5 or 6 yrs away (moores Law) considering the max out there right now is about 8 Mpix I believe?

Furthermore the most important point. The new bartender at the Reynolds is named Michelle. She just moved from Squamish to Lillooet 2 weeks ago, doesnt have a boyfriend, and finds Lillooet kinda boring and small town She likes ice climbers cause they are easier to serve than the usual drunks. Even if they do order pickled horsecock shooters

since they aren't recommended for self belay they dont have to put out a safety announcement saying they are unsafe - except maybe in USA the land of the "my hot coffee scaleded me and it didnt say it was hot" lawsuits.

1) if there is a nice white wall u don't need a screen 2) if the legion wont come thru I note several of the hotels (well, actually I think either the Vic, 4 Pines or both) in town advertise "banquet Rooms" which could probably cater to some ice climbers 3) I got a number of a snowmobiler in the bar last night who said he and his friend would offer rides in to Phair Creek or wherever else you want to go.

its 6 of one, half dozen of the other. they are both plastic double boots with no real functional difference except the degre has a teeny bit more flex/less stability in the upper part above the hinge. you are onna have to try both and take whatever fits better because otherwise the choice is meaningless. it's like granny smith vs. macintosh for apple bobbing

pigs are faster to breed and faster to mature than chimps hence the organs are easier to "harvest" chimp DNA is closer to human than pig DNA though. there have not been any signiicant xenotransplantations from pig to human with long term survival of the transplant recipient yet. also potential problems with pig flus jumping to human from the transplanted organs mean the technology is never likely to be developed seriously.

Climb: Lillooet-Reynolds Hotel Pub Club Date of Climb: 2/1/2004 Trip Report: So Steve and I were gonna climb in the Canyon but too much fresheez fell (a foot and a half fell on Friday) so we ended up in Lillooet with the riffraff. Hiked into Texas Creek via the posthole method and everything was buried under fresh avvy cones so we drove up the Bridge and simul-soloed Hell Creek falls LHS then didnt want to downclimb so invented a new walk off method via "alpine 3rd class obvious gully" type scrambling Back to the Mile -0 where there were a bunch of friends cc and non including Rat, Danimal, Paco, Fern, Specialed, Ken4wd, jja, TimL, and non cc people Kai, Jer, Jay, Jay, and Matt plus some ppl from PDX who pretended they had never heard of Iain Morris Went to the Reynolds Hotel pub for and saw Canucks down Capitals 6-1 The Lillooet natives were very friendly. They even bought us a pitcher after we played some Hank Williams and Emminem on the jukebox. If anybody ever wants to check out the Seton Lake climbs a guy named Percy Tom has a little train he runs to Seton Portage and back every day you can scope them out from. Percy is a guy. Much pool was played and Steve sharked the lot of us. Only the fact he was teamed with Pete SpecialEd kept him from totally wiping the floor with me and Ken4onthefloor. Today I had a flat tire so steve and I jaunted up Honeyman along with Jer Jay Jay & Matt who were being flimed by a CBC camera crew!! until the battery froze on the video also the PDX ers sent before us but tried to do the walkoff and were never seen again There is a LOT of new snow. WI2 is basically buried and there is high avvy hazard on anything in a gully. Heads up for the next wk until it settles. It should feed some fat ice growth. Gear Notes: beer, burgers, screws, snowshoes would have been nice. Approach Notes: postholes
