Also there was a marijuana drop plane that dropped its bales recently (october?) while being chased by the US Border Patrol planes. The bales are scattered over "inaccessible mountainous terrain" between Chilliwack and the Okanagan. These bales have not been recovered.
There are definitely wolverines living the border area near Chilliwack. I worked with biologists that monitored them. They would cross the border on occasion.
None of the Scottish climbers I've known have ever sharpened tools. "It just makes them wear out faster." You need sharp picks to climb ice but does it really make a difference for mixed climbing? Maybe for the first swing.

In reptiles and birds it works the other way. Instead of Xs and Ys they have Ws and Zs and if you get two Ws you a male and a WZ is a female. Or something. I read that somewhere and I have no source. But I wonder how it was that mammals evolved to the reverse system?
