Gear abandoned on a route is trash and belongs to whomever carries it out. If you have to leave gear on a route, you made the choice to leave it behind and should not expect to give it back. If someone does give gear you abandoned back to you, a single beer or a "hey thanks" are pretty stingy.
OTOH if I recover some gear that I know belongs to a friend I will usually return it to them.

The combined cycle plant lasts longer and also they can get the fuel to it in a pipeline, not in CO2 spewing vehicles.

Well since BC gets >90% of its power from green energy already I don't think we're gonna be busting out the nukes anytime soon. Have fun getting rid of the waste, shit 30 years of planning and you STILL can't even decide if you're going to store it at Yucca Mtn or what
