Dunno about TRing but only about one party in 10 ever makes it to the top of the Plum anyways. Route is long and days is short. Marble Canyon is about only place near Lillooet it is possible to walk to top of 1st pitch hence TRing. maybe we need to dynamite the ledge off or import some geography from haffner creek for the hordes. I vote we get Lyle to set up a leaky pipe and make some farmed ice near the Terzaghi Dam outlet.

orig route goes clean (and free...) leave pins at home! take lots of TCU. this info 3rd hand. take with NaCl.

a dozen snow flukes no actually, for a 45-55 degree snow route, i usally solo if partner is Ok with it as the speed is safety on n faces with rockfall etc. if alpine ice may be present at that angle I take about 6 titanium screws and a picket or two, and 4-5 pitons. that rack worked great for this:

m10s are semi-flexible and work good on leather mtneering boots. m10s have vert front pts, true, but conditions where you realy need horizontal front pts i have found to be few and far between. the pts can be extended for snow or pulled in for hard ice. but the antibotte costs like $35 CDN more!!! bastards. maybe look at the dmm terminator as it is similarily shaped, adjustible, point-mixable and comes with a horizontal-ish "spoon" point set designed just for snow & weird crud mixed. and it comes with an antibotte. and its like $50 cheaper.
