  1. Where's Capt Caveman!!!??? I think he needs to come out of retirement for this post. [ 03-12-2002: Message edited by: Charlie ]
  2. I wouldn't mind sharing sharing my shaft with the community. Jman- are you seriously going to say that if a man hit your wife, you wouldn't do anything? But wait to file a lawsuit? Toughen up man! Most people I hang around wouldn't let someone get away with hitting one of their friends, let alone their wife.

Thrilled to hear it. Anyhooo, B-ham seems like a beautiful city, with nary a dead body in sight. Biff? Anyhoo? Bully for you? You own a pair of leather chaps, don't you? A pink triangle sticker on your helmet?

All the "whinning" and "I like boys" flames they've pathetically thrown at me were really to put the authorities off their trail and onto mine. I've heard their screams of terror and delight. Or maybe they're intimitated by that hard E3 Eerie route. And with that, I gotta take a crap. Then it's off to Casa with a bottle of tequilla and a rusty nail in a board to clean up this town. Anyone who wants to join the rebelion to get some good climbing 'round here or at least admit that eerie sucks (although your right, not as bad as ellensburg) can join my vigilante group. You gotta be able to swing a sack of doornobs though. We'll take care of the Leavenworth ranger district bastards next! Anyway, pinchie can't hold off that loaf much longer, Viva la revolution. Ah, I see somebody 'been hittin the bottle early this evening? And what the hell is E3? Is that a measure of how snug your neon tights are?

I've never been to a more disenfranched climbing community. Why? I think it's b/c we have no local crag or climbing hang out. Yes, I know what your gonna say but: TheLeading Edge, YMCA, Larabee, Gov Lister(especially), Bat Caves, Baker crags, AAI, Base Camp, and REI all suck some serious ass compared to most other climbing town shops or... dude, quite your bitchin'- you just listed 8 places! Ellensburg has an 8' x 15' foot climbing wall! Wah, wah, wah
  6. Castle crags- right off of I5, I've passed many times but have never climbed there.
  7. Awe, sounds familiar- COMM345- last quarter- another page?

  11. Taping up before a crack climb is like having sex with a condom on!
  12. Just wanted to say "you suck" to the guys smoking in the climbers hut on Saturday. I (this is my opinion, and mine only) think it was very inconsiderate to ruin everyone else's experience on such a day to fill the hut with pot smoke. I really enjoyed sitting outside in the cold while you got your groove on. Real smart folks. I bet it's great to be buzzed up at 10,000 feet. Watch out for the Paradise & Nisqually Glacier on your way down. I know I will probably get slammed on this topic since I am sure a large amount of users on this board are potheads, etc, (only an assumption since there are many threads of the sort) but I have never been so pissed of at 10,000 feet. Plus I know this post will get picked apart since you must defend your right to enjoy "da kine
  13. Give me a break! Just suggesting that "you're not a climber" based on what you wear is the most "trendy" statement of all! It's about what you're getting done, not what you wear.
  14. Nice I just set it as my wallpaper! FFFFFFFFFFFFIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNAAAAAAAALLLLLLLSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKK!.....HERE'S ONE FOR YAA LITTLE ELLENSBURG HUMOR?

  18. One more for the mountain masters. I'm on my 2nd pair in 2 years and probably ready fo another- They are the most comfortable hiking shoe I've ever worn- I took them on many alpine climbs last summer- I even have a pair of crampons that fit them.
  19. Looks like you guys got lucky last weekend, damn it! it's dumpin snow here in eburg so I'm sure the same is true for lworth- Guess winter's not over-ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Good thing I'm going to mexico next week
  20. Angel is only 5.10A! I am a fat ass and I can send it, therefore, it can't be harder than 10A. Anybody ever fallen off of the second pitch (first move) of canary? -just curious. How 'bout crack of doom- any of you guys ever done it? I tried it and hung on every other piece. (I'll get her this year!)

  23. Personally, I use leavenworth ratings as a benchmark "that jtree 5.6 is lworth 5.9. that vantage 5.10 is lworth 5.8...blah blah...turn the radio up...check out that chick over there...is that capt caveman passed out over there...blah blah..." (my usual banter at the crags)
