  1. Thanks! I put together a video that has some of the towing here, though the snowmobiling is all in the dark. Seems like I only ever snowmobile in the dark for these trips. I think I probably just need to get more skilled at snowmobiling to be comfortable going off-road, though with three people on the sled I'd be nervous getting through any tricky terrain.

  2. Chelan is a top-notch rescue unit, and now a member of the MRA! @gyselinck and others did a great job this past fall getting Chelan Mountain Rescue through the WMRA rock accreditation. Bottom line, when things go bad over in Chelan County, you can be confident that these folks have your back. But please, this isn't Europe. We're all volunteer and it really is better if we're never called.

  3. Full detailed article about this: https://www.seattletimes.com/life/outdoors/wa-volunteer-details-colchuck-peak-avalanche-search-and-rescue-effort/ You'll need a paywall blocker if you've visited that site too much. Features a ton on @gyselinck who is now a member of Chelan County Mountain Rescue. He was a first responder. Also has a great photo by @John_Scurlock of Colchuck.

  4. Damn that is a hell of a trip and a great trip report! Love it! That is a full expedition. Thank you for sharing it here. I want to see some video of the tow in. I admire your ethics in human powered but must admit I would ride in to the point it wasn’t legal. 😂

  5. Wow! These winter bulger trips always sound like death marches to me, but you seem to still enjoy them!

  6. Climbed Icy BC and Deeping Wall on Sunday, both pretty picked out but all there. Dale's Route was pretty good and not picked out too. Icy BC in Standard conditions Deeping Wall Deeping wall Dales Route Rambles Center Rambles Left and Center were in as well. I've heard that Loose Lady is in, but thin and/or delaminating at the top (report from Friday)
