Suddenly, a dangerous looking man with a huge knife comes around the corner and is running at you while screaming obscenities. In your hand is a Glock .40 and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do? Liberal Answer Well, that's not enough information to answer the question! Does the man look poor or oppressed? Have I ever done anything to him that is inspiring him to attack? Could we run away? What does my wife think? What about the kids? Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand? What does the law say about this situation? Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing me? Does he definitely want to kill me or would he just be content to wound me? If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me? This is all so confusing! I have liberal tendencies. Expert marksman and former military light weapons specialist. I even own a handgun and would use it without hesitation in the above-described scenario, although I never pack. I'm not sure why Trask uses this scenario as a jumping off point to contrast liberals/conservatives. Justice sometimes does in fact come from the barrel of a gun. That's funny. This past elk season we hadn't seen too many animals and I was afraid to take a shit on a hunt for fear that I'd see animals mid-doody!! Just curious: do you spend a lot of time worrying about becoming the victim of a crime? Have you been a crime victim? Violent crime? About the only thing that has ever happened to me is that my car was stolen in the dead of night. Never been a victim of violent crime. I suppose I'd be differently disposed towards guns if I had. Bottom line is that I REFUSE to be a victim, or allow my family to be victimized. In my sphere, I believe seriously that I am responsible for the protection of my family and I take it very, very seriously. Does that answer your question? He put a mustard squeeze bottle between his cheeks and squirted a stream of mustard about 20 ft in the air. These two contestants had to try to catch as much of the mustard on hotdogs as they could in order to win Superbowl tickets. One guy got it right in the eye. I firmly believe that the best way to avoid violence is to leave the bars well before they close. Seems like whenever you read about some guy getting stabbed or beaten at Pioneer Square its at 2 am.
