bstach Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Talking about the same old Obomba and Republican du jour is making me want to stab my eyes out. Harper, Iggy, Layton or May? What kind of a job do you think Harper has done? Quote
rob Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 I don't personally know Layton, but he has a pretty good reputation here on cc.com. Quote
genepires Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 layton for president! Him and Trump can fight it out. Quote
prole Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Which candidate's wife is most obviously alien lizard Illuminati? Quote
Mal_Con Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 The view from the center of the universe is that it is pretty much a snooze fest, not that there is anything wrong with that as compared to the States. Quote
G-spotter Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Harper, Iggy, Layton or May? Why do you hate Gilles so much? Quote
murraysovereign Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Which candidate's wife is most obviously alien lizard Illuminati? Elizabeth May doesn't have a wife. Iggy's wife is an actual alien, still awaiting her citizenship papers. I think she's Hungarian? Anyhow, she's quite open about her ineligibility to vote, but now I see the Conservatives are starting to attack her for it. Or more correctly, they're using her lack of citizenship to attack her husband, trying to make an issue out of it. She's being pretty classy about it; the conservatives not so much. Jack's wife is also a member of parliament, which always makes me suspicious, but I don't think it puts her in "lizard" territory. Harper's wife is married to Stephen Harper - she even had children with him. If she isn't a lizard alien, there's definitely something wrong with her. Quote
G-spotter Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Doesn't "colgate" mean "commit suicide" in some Spanish dialect? Quote
Mal_Con Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Anyone of you pansies watch the great debate last night, eh, didn't think so. Quote

tvashtarkatena Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Gah-damn, we free as a muh-fuckah... That's funny. I can never find the 1 foot wide toothpaste display in my grocery store because it seems there's always one or two hotties standing in the way. Guess this corporate slave shops at a different store than you free thinkers. Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 The attempted link between a grocery promotional display and any meaningful definition of freedom is telling, if just a wee bit of a stretch. Stop me before I brush again? Quote
j_b Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 The attempted link between a grocery promotional display and any meaningful definition of freedom is telling, if just a wee bit of a stretch. Stop me before I brush again? Huh? You must have forgotten cold war propaganda when variety of promotional displays was regularly portrayed as the ultimate index of 'liberty' Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 (edited) Born in '59, so I grew up with the Cold War, but I've got to say I don't remember those Liberty Through Consumption grocery displays. In any case, all kinds of 'messages' are put out there all the time, as they always have been...most of which are happily ignored by folks like me. Try it sometime. Or not. j_b Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 the thug's argument about "whining" is always a clincher. Moron. Quote
