Choada_Boy
I'm looking to buy a laptop, some kind of Mac, and I need some advice. I don't have a shit-ton of cash. Here's what I want to do with it: 1) Record music 2) Run Audiomulch and Reason for live performance 3) MIDI in and out via M-Audio Fast Track 4) Live Video Mixing Thanks for the input, PC fans can hold their tongues... Doug
Don't know what your $ limit is, but Powermax and their brick and mortar affiliate The Mac Store sell used and reconditioned Macbbok Pro's. My Macbook Pro is a much better machine than the POS Dell Lattitudes we use at work.
tvashtarkatena
you want a mac, but you don't have tons of cash. I advise theft. My first thought exactly. You wanna do the job you wanna do or stroke your pretty (expensive) hardware? Evangelism ala Madison Avenue: damn that shit works. rob
Am I one of those three people? Also, I don't rembember anyone saying anything helpful, not even three people. Craigslist? Is that a suggestion you couldn't think of on your own? I hear there are surveys you can take online that promise a free macbook. You should totally try it!
