It was widespread, done on thousands and thousands of prisoners, and so disgusting that it would make a normal persons stomach, maybe even Josef Mengele's, turn. I suspect that more Japanese women would be putting out to the Chinese kids if they had a clue about that bullshit. The Japanese government suppresses this knowledge. As I understand it, they do not acknowledge the rape of Nanking and many other things as well in their history books. (I'm not saying we do not do similar things JB) So does the US, we're embarrassed because we said we would not prosecute the war criminals in charge if they would turn over the information that had conducted in these bizarre experiments on thousands of live (well, for a while) Chinese prisoners. Getting the research knowledge was more important to us than justice and we let the miscreants go free.
