Raindawg is currently in Egypt where he is directing an expedition in the Valley of the Kings, excavating, studying and conserving several tombs in the royal cemetery. (And doing some desert exploration as well). That's where he is and what he be doing. - Raindawg

How does one "abuse" stone? i'm pretty certain these at least required some chipping No. The incedible thing about Egyptian stonework is that they found each stone naturally and fit it to its place according to its size and shape. They had a class of preists called "stonefinders" StoneFinders wandered the desert in search of stones and directed their slaves to those spots. Amazingly, they also used cats to navigate in the desert. They carried large numbers of the felines on their travels. When they got lost, they yanked on their tails and released them. By this method they were able to find their way back home by following the tail-less cats' blood spots in the sand. Awake yet Kevbone?
