tvashtarkatena Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 McCain's lost Michigan. Early voting in OH and a huge early voter registration program will secure OH for Obama. Florida, hit hard by foreclosures and disasters, will go Obama this time around. Both OH and FL have new Sec. of states who are closely watching for the kind of shinnanigans the GOP indulged in during the past two elections. It's looking more and more like a landslide this year. olyclimber Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 Well, since Obama has dumbed down the issues, we may never know the absolute brilliance of McCain/Palin. Quote
AlpineK Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 Right now it seems to me that the election boils down to the economy. It's no different from any other big election. If the economy stinks and you're in charge as it got stinky then you and your party are given a boot in the ass out the door. I do hear that McCain followers are fighting hard to keep him in Michigan. Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted October 4, 2008 Author Posted October 4, 2008 (edited) Michigan's a lost cause. It's not even a swing state anymore. The people there are getting royally economically fucked right now. McCain would probably do better to give it up and focus his dwindling money in PA. It's kind of funny; for all McCain's rhetoric about relating to Joe Sixpack, Joe Sixpack doesn't seem to be returning the sentiment. "Joe Sixpack." What.The.Fuck does McCain, with his 14 (+/-) mansions, know about Joe Sixpack? And they say Obama's condenscending. Edited October 4, 2008 by tvashtarkatena Quote
TREETOAD Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 McCain looks like skeletor don't you think? Quote

tvashtarkatena Posted October 4, 2008 Author Posted October 4, 2008 Wiki on Skeletor: "Despite his occasional bungling actions and personality, all versions portray Skeletor as being extremely cunning and intelligent but with a sense of hubris that invariably leads to his downfall." Quote
STP Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 I always thought former Senator Slade Gorton was the original Skeletor. Quote
ScottP Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 I always thought former Senator Slade Gorton was the original Skeletor. Why...I believe I DO see a resemblance. Quote
