Bug, very large sums of money get transferred internationally over computers. In order to do it one bank sends out sometimes like a 40 digit number. The other bank needs to know something about 2 smaller numbers and a previously agreed upon multiplier.

 

This all ties in with why 1000 is a bad ending number. I realized that as I locked the thread, but I was interested in the response the whole affair would generate.
