Hood and Smith then Portland proper. Sellwood, Woodstock, Westmoreland are all great Portland neighborhoods close to Milwaukie. A bit further to Broughtons, Beacon and the Gorge. All the climbing and skiing is out that way (that is, if you don't head north to Washington Pass or Leavenworth). Â Where in Milwaukie Peter (Milwaukie has some big distances depending on which side you're on) ? Maybe we can give some specific recommendations.
