AlpineMonkey
Why all trip reports for the same routes always, Stuart N. Ridge, Thompson W. Ridge, Prusik, Colchuck, Guye...People should go climb some wierd stuff that dosent get much attention, then post some rad photos. I want to see more write ups and photos of those semi remote, untocuhed in 20 years, chossy vegitated peaks and spires. olyclimber
maybe if you do it it will inspire people. no doubt it would be cool to see TRs from less visited areas. i suspect that the reason you see a lot of TRs from the same places is that with limited time, people choose to go climb "guaranteed" quality pitches (i know that is my reasoning behind it) on stuff that maybe everyone else has done but they haven't. Â that said, i think going out on an adventure, into the semi-remote is the way to go, and I'd love to see more pictures from that type of climbing. You do see it...look at the climbs a number of people have done in the North Cascades (like Blake's recent TR). There is even FAs out there waiting (and perhaps quality ones at that), or 2nd ascents. Â After I win the lottery I promise to follow your advice.
AlpineMonkey
Indeed, I just saw that stuff in the N. Cascades forum, such as Blakes post. That is the type of stuff that would be cool to see more of.

olyclimber
I know seeing the same thing over and over might be boring for someone who is able to get out and climb as much as yourself, but other people just get the stoke from seeing recent pictures and seeing the current conditions. Its all about getting inspiration, especially when you're stuck in cubesville. Â But, seeing TRs for new peaks and crags is pretty awesome. As a matter of a fact, I think you should go do an FA this weekend. But I'm going to Squamish to climb guaranteed goodness.
AlpineMonkey
I quit climbing, thats why I want to see posts of obsecure things. Im going to go get fat on a cruise in AK this weekend. Â Kevin, if you went to climb outerspace you would probably get lost and end up climbing at peshastin, all the while thinking you were on route.
