Blake
Oly, I think you cut off half of my picture in the scenic category. Here's a resized version of the whole thing: http://www.cascadeclimbers.com/plab/data/513/photo_scenic.JPG
olyclimber
Thanks Blake...its probably just a image loading problem (so many images to load!) as I just linked to your photo. Also, another note is that a couple of people have noticed that the post doesn't load with Firefox on MacOSX. I'm not sure why that is, but if you run into that problem just fire up Safari which loads the post fine and use it to vote with.
jon
[geek]I was interested to find that Safari was able to handle those images fine considering it in general is substantially slower the Firefox IMO.[/geek]
Alpinfox
The images should be a standard size. Big pics have an advantage. Now what the hell is that guy doing laying back Toxic Shock? DESPICABLE!
olyclimber
better than hangdogging on it like that dork in the weekend rock guide
G-spotter
um... pic 1 and pic 8 in the ski category are the same ? and it stops loading halfway ( just after pic 1 - bouldering) and there is no votey thing? is this just me???

Good catch brah. Yeah...i just edited out picture 8. If you vote for that one you're throwing away your vote. Otherwise, all the images load for me and voting loads for me. What browser/ OS are you using?
G-spotter
Firefox and Winders XP SP2
G-spotter
Now that you deleted Pic 8 I get half of pic 2 for bouldering.
olyclimber
If you didn't do the impossible and remove IE from your system, can you take a look at it in IE and tell me if you're having the same problem? I promise no IE exploits will load.
TrogdortheBurninator
works fine in IE, but not in Firefox
olyclimber
There you have it folks...sorry for the inconvience but the contest post doesn't seem to load with Firefox on a Mac or a PC for whatever reason. I'm not sure why this is, but in the meantime use a different browser (IE, Safari, etc). If there is anything I can do about it, I'll fix it, but that might not happen before the contest ends... so use another browser to vote. thanks to trog and dru for confirming this stuff. olyclimber
I should point out that while there are a ton of pictures here, they have been selected from a bunch more....so if you don't see yours here they didn't make the judges cut. Sorry if you didn't make the cut, but that is the hard part for us too...so many good photos!

ken4ord
Definite for all those who submitted great shots. Hey is it me or are there some pictures that are in this that never appeared in the photo contest call thread?
EWolfe
I noticed that too. IPA and Ropegun bribes were offered, I suspect. Great pictures everyone!
Billygoat
We can view the voting results on 4/20? Is it just me or is it smokey in here?!
layton
There are some awesome shots in this contest. But I think there are some really bad ones too, I don't wan't to point out which ones out of respect, but come on!

But I think there are some really bad ones too, I don't wan't to point out which ones out of respect, but come on! I agree. Blurry shots might be OK in the humor category, but in the Scenic? Come on! And some of those pics have had some kind of photoshop brushstroke processing to them or something. Lame. Thank you for allow couch potato to bitch. ashw_justin
This page loads fine in Firefox 2.0.0.3 for linux, except that scrolling is a little messed up (pgup/pgdn not affected).
DirtyHarry
In the spirit of full openness, I would like to disclose that all my shots were taken in my living room and backyard and then photoshopped to add mountain-like features.

I just stole mine off the web and photoshopped out the watermarks.
Alpinfox
That pic of Rolf bouldering in snowshoes would have won the bouldering category.
