Blake Posted February 20, 2007 Author Posted February 20, 2007 (edited) East of the crest between Liberty Bell and Stehekin...something so obscure no one has seen it... Â It's actually one of the 100 highest peaks in the state. Edited February 20, 2007 by Blake Quote
dberdinka Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Thats COURTNEY PEAK. An old friend has climbed that face in summer (chossy) and done a couple easy to moderate mixed winter routes as well. She says they were pretty good. Way out the hell in the middle of nowhere near Twisp. Supposedly beautiful summer camping at lakes and some good skiing in the winter, like the alt-Silverstar tour. Blake Posted February 20, 2007 Author Posted February 20, 2007 Is that Tupshin, blake? Â NO! here's a clue, it's named for your grandfather... you get one guess. Quote
Blake Posted February 21, 2007 Author Posted February 21, 2007 Courtney?? Â Yep. And don't listen to DBerdinka, that north face has not been climbed, especially in winter, and not by a "moderate route." Quote
G-spotter Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 There was a new 5.4 done last year. It's gonna be in the new AAJ, I heard Quote

G-spotter Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 It looks like a nice solo up those ramps but they are probably too narrow at the bottom to ski? Quote
