crackers Posted August 7, 2006 Author Posted August 7, 2006 Before or after the show? Â Good things about OR: free coffee and free beer. Bad things: ... Â if there is anything cool, i'll take pictures... Quote
cj001f Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Oh, not going to the show - but can think of a few people who need a tshirt! Quote

I'll try to grab a shirt for you AE, just so long as you don't go on and on about what a wonderful vacation you're having! Quote
powderhound Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 (edited) Is there anywhere I can get one of those shirts, they are pretty sweet. I found it. Edited August 8, 2006 by powderhound Quote
marylou Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 I had a hard time getting to SLC with the security thing messing up Sea-Tac as it did, but finally made it down there. Â Anyone see anything interesting? I saw Crackers, he and I went to a party and dinner. I saw Murray, but we were running off in different directions. Thinker and I had b'fast and then he took me to the airport today. Thanks, always good to see you, Thinker. Â Good weekend, wish I'd had more time to look around. The airport thing on Thurday caused me to miss seven meetings that first day, and it was tough to make that up. People missed meetings right and left due to some rearranging of booths, the new immense size of the Salt Palace, and a vexing new booth numbering system. Â Good: lots of companies getting more green technologies going and the use of recycled materials are way up. Â Bad: lots of new innovations from the last couple of seasons being rehashed, mostly to unimpressive results. Quote
OlympicMtnBoy Posted August 14, 2006 Posted August 14, 2006 Hey Crackers, post up some prototype pics so we can drool and comment or poke fun at them. Also did you ever get that upgrade kit together for the worksacks? I really need a webbing hipbelt I can wear my harness with. I made one that worked but I lost part of the buckle on the top of Mt. Stuart. Quote
cj001f Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Did Suunto have anything new in the offing besides the T3, T4 et al? Maybe battery life more than a few months? Quote

Cobra_Commander Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I am also eager to see the new Ti spoon designs. I hear they fit in a toblerone box now!!! Quote
olyclimber Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 I hope they improve the anodizing on the newly designed ti sporks, and add my favorite color aqua marine. also, it would help if they drilled out the handle to reduce weight. Hopefully companies have recieved my letters and heeded my advice. Quote
DirtyHarry Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Is that new ti toothbrush with aircraft grade aluminum bristles out yet? Quote
