Dru Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 Laser eye sugery. Scary stuff. They say not to point laser pointers at people's eyes, then here they are pointing lasers in your eyes. Hypocrites. Quote

thelawgoddess Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 maybe they should have specified that you should only point lasers at people's eyes if they have shitty vision to begin with ... Quote

barjor Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 If I got it right almost everyone gets better vision after the surgery but alot of people still have to use glasses after a couple of years. So whats the point? Quote
archenemy Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 Exactly. That's why I don't make my bed in the morning. Quote
foraker Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 Different type of lasers, Dru. But then you know that. Rabble rouser that you are. ;-) Someone once made Jello lase. I always wanted to try that. Quote
foraker Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 I just had laser surgery. The point is if you have really sucky vision then it helps for you to go do outdoorsy things without flinging your specs off a cliff when the rope catches them, etc. Most people will need glasses for reading afterwards, since if you are nearsighted to begin with your close vision will blow afterwards (I can attest to this). I have no problem having reading glasses now that I'm free not to worry about them while skiing or climbing. Quote

barjor Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 How come I haven't heard of any friiking sharks performing this surgery? Quote
Bill_Simpkins Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 Exactly. That's why I don't make my bed in the morning. Â Same reason I don't shower. Quote
bunglehead Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 Yeah, me either. I just wash my balls and cornhole with a cold, wet soapy rag. I find this to be especially enjoyable at a friend's house. I figure as long as I fold it back up and hang it on the towel rack, no harm done. Quote
ScottP Posted May 6, 2005 Posted May 6, 2005 How come I haven't heard of any friiking sharks performing this surgery? Â Cause they don't have fricking laser beams attached to their heads. I've been informed this can't be done. Quote
