TrogdortheBurninator Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 Anything in the sun is very warm and nice. Not much snow on south facing exposures, maybe a little more in the valley bottoms. Rock is nice and dry in general, although we didnt chceck out any boulders. Quote
bigbro Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Anybody been into snow creek wall lately? Quote
solfuego Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 at castle rock, there was some ice on the approach trail last week that could easy eject you but, with a little scrambling passable, the rock was nice and dry Quote
kurthicks Posted March 3, 2005 Posted March 3, 2005 Anybody been into snow creek wall lately? ^BUMP^ Quote
slaphappy Posted March 3, 2005 Posted March 3, 2005 When the North side of the canyon is so perfect, why go to SCW? That shit can wait, at least till the snow melts off Library Ledge and the top... just my opinion. Try the Pearly Gates... Quote
EWolfe Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Beware! Check yourself regularly this time of year! Quote
Bogen Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 If you find that one on the right crawling on you, it's too late. That's post-feeding. Quote
Maestro Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 I guess the legendary rattlesnakes at least, are probably stilled denned up. Has anyone seen one yet? Or has one seen you?? Quote
slaphappy Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Tons-o-ticks. No snakes. See ya all there! - Quote
Dru Posted March 5, 2005 Posted March 5, 2005 Can ticks bite snakes or what? Seems like the 2 scourges could cancel each other out. Quote
Off_White Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 There's just something so grotesque about a fat tick, especially when it's attached to you. Quote
AlpineK Posted March 7, 2005 Posted March 7, 2005 Anybody been into snow creek wall lately? ^BUMP^ That side of the valley is snowy and cold, but all the south facing crags are ready to rock. Quote
