Bogen
Ha! I found a disposable camera with flash and 3 pix left! The flash scared the male off, the female squirmed around on the ground for a few seconds, then dragged her ass (literally!) into the shrubbery. They had been shrieking and chitterring quite loudly. The first time I went out, to within 10 ft of them, they stopped making noise, but not humping! Picture to follow, hopefully.
Squid
First the vegan porn, then this? I'm starting to wonder, Bogen.
Bogen
Picture didn't turn out. I'm starting to wonder, Bogen. You're starting to wonder! Those racoons were calling me some pretty dirty names, I'm sure! Edited February 5, 2005 by Bogen

Dru
raccoons carry parasites which can be fatal to humans, i thought you raccoon know
Bogen
Really! Do you recall what the parasite is?
TheOldHouseMan
They also can carry Parvo. I don't think it will do anything to people but it does kill your dog.
Bogen
googling reveals only the usual diseases associated with raccoons - rabies and distemper. Also that parvovirus doesn't affect people.
AlpineK
I've heard the same thing as Dru. There's some nasty parasite in racoons that will fuck you up.
olyclimber
I was raised by racoons, and I can tell you the most nasty thing about them is their wicked little claws.
AlpineK
Not quite. They poop in the branch crotches of trees, and you don't always see it while climbing.
Dru
they told me that when i worked at an injured wildlife rehab center, and i believed them. their claws are really, really sharp. if they decide to climb up your leg their claws will be in your leg bones. when we fed the coons we would put on three pairs of hip waders one over the other before we went into the enclosure.
