It was so nice on Pilchuck yesterday. The feeling of the sun's rays was incredibly welcome. Nice view up there. I met a guy at the trailhead who had just come off the mountain. I saw him again headed back up for a second go round with his family in tow. He said the weather was so nice he had to share it with them.

I'm debating whether go to with an D70 or stay with my F4 and use a Nikon slide scanner that I will be able to use shortly. The I think the slide scanner will give me better quality...but you have to get the slides developed. Your pics definitely make it temping to just go with a D70! bigdrink.gif

I would just go with a d70.

slide scanners are super pricey if you want high quality, and then you have to make prints from slides anyway which sucks. And getting everything developed adds up too, 10 rolls of slide film from a long trip....?

I take tons of pictures, so for me there is no point in shooting film anymore, though I still do have my slr, haven't used it since I got my d70.
