Dru Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 How come it is sunny in the week and rainy on the weekend? Would it be too much for the reverse once in a while? Quote
Gary_Yngve Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 We're getting payback for April this year, where we had the exact opposite situation. I don't mind the rain one bit. It gives me a chance to spend time on all the other activities I do other than climbing. Quote
Alpinfox Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 ...all the other activities I do other than climbing. I have heard rumors that such things exist. Please list examples. Quote

icegirl Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 How come it is sunny in the week and rainy on the weekend? Would it be too much for the reverse once in a while? If you are like me, and work weekends and have weekdays OFF... I don't see the problem Quote
John Frieh Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 Sunny skies on Stuart all weekend. Colin was there too... where were you? Quote
klenke Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 Let's see, Sunday was a great day to be in the Cascades at least south of, say, Cascade Pass. The higher peaks were in the clouds but anything lower than 6,000 ft was clear. It was warm too. I'm kicking myself for not going climbing, though I did do outdoor activities. So, you see, often the forecast is not good at this time of year but the weather improves. Prepare yourself for improving conditions and go out if it does. If it doesn't, go out anyway...and suffer. John Frieh Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 You win some... you lose some. If I can drive from PDX to WA every weekend you can drive from CAN to WA too... Quote
Dru Posted November 8, 2004 Author Posted November 8, 2004 If you live in PDX you pretty much HAVE to drive to WA every weekend for decent climbing Quote
