Off_White Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 I was always more partial to Zamfir, the Lonely Goatherd. Man, that guy could play the pan pipes. Just imagine what he could do with jazz flute! Quote

Mal_Con Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 Zamfir did the soundtrack to Picnic at Hanging Rock a place where we used to practice. It always seemed haunted and the flic caught that. The local guide rated a route ar the equivalant of 5.9 when it was really about a 5.1 we did it on sight. Aussie climbing was pretty positive at the time. On the other hand Yanni ?? Quote
EWolfe Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 That was an AWESOME movie! Really captured the mystery without overdoing it. Quote
glacierdog Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 Yanni's playing??? And here I am, stuck in Europe, drinking cheap wine and cheaper beer, making love to beautiful women... It's just not fair. Quote
Dru Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 Hey, don't be dissin Zamfir. Those pan pipes are harder to play than a harmonica anyways... Quote
