jlag Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 Considering that it will all melt and you still won't be skiing until at least November why don't you take off your bra and panties and go climb something! Quote
cracked Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 Won't be skiing? I beg your pardon! I already got August turns, I'll get September and October turns, and then November rolls around! Quote
cj001f Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 I'll send my regards to y'all from On Saturday Quote
Gaper_Jeffy Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 at ~8000ft Mt Hood received about 16"s of snow last Sunday and 14.48"s so far today. Using that formula we are now up to 16.8"s of snow above 8000ft. Last night Timberline received another 1.52" of liquid precipitation which extrapolates to 15.2" of new snow at 8000ft. Total for Mt Hood since this weekend: About 3-4ft of new snow at 8-9000ft. The volcanoes north of Hood got even more. Quote

dmiller Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 This weekend's gotta be good. Take advatage of them Freshiez before they melt. Otherwise it could be until November and then begins the Season of the name RATBOY. I know how they came up with that name for some skier up at Alpental. In a Nutshell: He has a big nose, if he got in a fight he's got nothing to loose. He's nose would become bigger or he'd have a double nose. He has crooked teeth. So what if he lost a few teeth in a wrestling match he might look better and his jaw is indented. He looks like a RAT!!! So they decided to call him Ratboy. Don't like that, well that gives him and all else to take advantage of the freshiez in the true BC and avoid the circus like environment of a ski area. Quote
AaronB Posted August 27, 2004 Posted August 27, 2004 Powerco spokesman Charles Kaka said getting everyone back on was "slow work". I wonder how you pronounce "Kaka" ..anyways.. A+ on the fresh snow. I'm a ready to ride. Quote
Gaper_Jeffy Posted August 29, 2004 Posted August 29, 2004 More Freshiez are in the forecast. From PDX Discussion: "AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH WILL APPROACH THE COAST TUESDAY AND BRING A RETURN TO A COOL WET PATTERN FOR THE MIDDLE AND END OF THE WEEK." Quote
