Over 80% of American corn is genetically modified. How did those yummy Frankengenes taste?

Actually 100% of all corn is genetically modifed. It was originally called maize and was small and puny and I hear tasted like shit. So over a few thousand years, they bred it into corn.

The neat thing about genetically modified food is that someday it may be impossible to get anything else. You have genetically modified seeds blowing into your natural crop, the modified seed is going to take over your crop. Corporations like Monsanto are sueing some farmers because modified plants are growing in their field that they didn't pay for...because they came from a field next door.

I had a two-ear a day habit last week for several days before the corn all went away.

My parents grow corn.

Seems like every time I go down there my mother tries to foist on me a ziplock bag of 5 ears of frozen Klenke corn. It's good 'n all but at some point I just have to draw the kernel row and say no. Otherwise my freezer will become full of the stuff. I know it's easy to cook but I can't seem to eat it fast enough.
