allison
It's Monday, and time for the weekly debate about whose favorite watering hole we should descend upon.....what do we say?

Dwayner
They're still cleaning up the mess from the riot they had at the Tacoma pub club a few weeks ago. Too many climbers + too much alcohol = a formula for destruction. I think in the future that the Tacoma police are going to limit our group size to a maximum of 75 in the city. chelle
Owl & Thistle or the Ballard Grill were good locations that could handle a crowd our size.
erik
D-DAGW IS TECHNICALLY RIGHT, IT IS TACOMA'S TURN.... Â GRANTED I AM NOT SURE IF I WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE IT, BUT TECHINICALLY IT IS TACOMA'S TURN...... Â AND MATTP POINTED THAT OUT THIS PAST WEEKEND..... Â THOUGH IN SEATOWN BEST REPEAT VENUE IS ALKI!!!!!!
Dwayner
D-Dawg ain't plannin' nothin no mo. If Erik or some other local don't step up to the plate but soon, I say do it somewhere or else or skip it.
AlpineK
I think Seattle's best repeat spot is the Ballard Ale house, but this week I was thinking that the Alki would be an excellent spot to drink. chelle
I think I got the name wrong. I was thinking of the Ale House too. But if others are down with the Alki I'll go there. Hikerwa - do they still have $0.75 burgers on Tuesdays?
Dwayner
How's this. If it's Tacoma's turn, we pick the venue in Tacoma or elsewhere. I guess that would be me, Fast Eddie, Erik, mtnrgr and whatever locals who are potential hosts down here. I ain't gonna sit in a bar by myself in Tacoma because all the "big explorers" in Seattle won't drive south. MattP...how about some judicial insights to avert another "where we gonna drink" crisis? AlpineK
Actually Dwayner what happened is:  Three weeks ago: Tacoma Pub Club  Two weeks ago: We skipped the Eastside and drank at The Ballroom.  Last week: Golden Gardens  This week: ?  Seattle's turn ? maybe, or if a bunch of you Tacoma folks make some noise perhaps we might come visit you. Dwayner
If Alpine K's chronology be correct, it ain't Tacoma's turn until next week. So pick your dang venue for tomorrow and I'll confer with the experts down here re. T-town's extravaganza next week.
Dave_Schuldt
I would favor Ballard or downtown. Is there any good non-smoking places. I forgot, Jeff Hansel suggested the Zoo on Eastlake. We haven't been there yet. The Zoo is cool.

mtnrgr
I'm all for the Alki and T-town next week. Hey Dwayner I have your soiled sweat pants in my truck.
chucK
Though I have never frequented either establishment in question, I can sincerely say, without a doubt in my mind and without the smallest bit of hyperbole, that The Zoo totally and clearly kicks ass on the Alki all the way down the block and around the corner. David_Parker
I'm inclined to come over this week. I need to stop by feathered friends and then I could drink after. I won't have a car and wouldn't mind a ride out to the Alki which is my vote!

Matt
The zoo is cool For playing pool. The Alki's cheap And has good eats. I'm a poet and I know it. Hope I don't blow it.

David_Parker
Sounds like it's down to the Zoo or Alki. Now lets decide boys and girls before end of TODAY so some of us can make a plan! MattP??? what say yee?
chelle
I vote for the Zoo. Let's try someplace we haven't been yet.
hikerwa
I guess it's time I chimed in on this one... Â ChucK- I will forgive your ignorance ONCE. Â Alki would be cool, the burgers are still .75, and the beer is reasonably cold. Â The beautiful Stephanie (my fiance) may make a guest appearance also, since she is an early-to-bedder, whereas I am not. Â Me and TTT will do a recon mission this evening to see if the Alki is still cool. Â see ya all tomorrow,
oo9
The Zoo has $5.00 pitchers of cold PBR ! Â
AlpineK
It sounds like the Zoo has the advantage... so far. Â Maybe we can all pitch in and get Peter Puget a bottle of O2 if he shows up. Though for a dead British guy I don't understand your problem.
