bunglehead Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 So I work in fab, and I was trying to set up my e-mail in said fab, but I used Outlook express, which uses a POP3 connection, and it took all my e-mail from my inbox at my desk and dumped it into the express inbox, so now I have NO MAIL IN MY INBOX!! WTF?!! Man the people that write code at MS must be pure evil. (FYI, I KNOW I'm the idiot here. I noticed too late that I used Express instead of the superior Outlook) Quote
bunglehead Posted November 14, 2003 Author Posted November 14, 2003 They told me I "didn't get the memo" Quote
JoshK Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 Ummm...I'm gonna call operator error on that one. It's an option. I store plenty of email in offline folders as well, it's quite useful. Quote
arlen Posted November 15, 2003 Posted November 15, 2003 Why stop with just your email? It's the perfect time to erase the rest of your past and invent a new identity. You can probably talk Trask out of one of his avatars for a bottle of Courvoisier and a ride to Hooters. Quote
nonanon Posted November 15, 2003 Posted November 15, 2003 PEBCAK! Before you give up all hope, try searching your C: drive for .dbx files. And to completely establish my ignorance, what's fab? Quote
scot'teryx Posted November 15, 2003 Posted November 15, 2003 Use the import export engine on outlook 2000/02 to get back those emails. Express sucks ass Quote
gapertimmy Posted November 16, 2003 Posted November 16, 2003 yep you can easily import an outlook express inbox into exchange/outlook RTFM dude. or buy a mac and your shit will smell like roses and you'll never have computer problems, according ot iain and jonny Quote

bunglehead Posted November 17, 2003 Author Posted November 17, 2003 Why, "fab" is shorthand for fabrication unit. A huge cleanroom where we make semiconductors! Quote
