John Mayer (sp?) sucks, and they play that crap constantly. The "your body is a disneyland" or some such shit song is the worst.

Please discuss.

Agreed - irritating song and extra-special catchy to make it even worse. I once had that POS stuck in my head for a week! Thanks for bringing back bad memories! madgo_ron.gif

My daughter is into Avril Levigne bubble-gum pop these days and it gives me a splitting headache and makes me want to throw up...kind of like altitude sickness!

the last relatively new tune I liked was on the Neil Young album last year..."Differently"...just two guitar riffs, but you know it's Neil with a Booker T blues sound...

Frampton comes alive!

Ooooh, the highschool beers, bonghits, boooo

Nothing brings back the 70s better than Frampton. What was your first concert Rob?

first concert---CSNY 1972 or 1973. I was too damn young to have seen what I saw cool.gif---never the same afterward.

Cream-Disraeli Gears thumbs_up.gif trask is older than I thought, or has older sibs like me.

Erik, unfortunately the gym I workout plays about the shittiest music possible. When I'm working out with my roomate, I don't use my headphones, and I pay the ultimate price for it.

If you haven't heard it, you are lucky.

Best concert: boy I saw a lot of them in the 70s and 80s. But for a surprising 'one of the best' I'd say it was Warren Zevon a a univ auditorium in abt 1980. A bizarre, rockin', intense trip! rockband.gif

...and now back to work thumbs_down.gif

I just bought the new Queens album. Some of the songs are good, but there is too much of the bullshit "radio" stuff. The new album by Seether (Disclaimer) is really, really good though. All the songs on that CD are GREAT. thumbs_up.gif

My young son Drew (13) has totally taken over my classic rock and roll cd collection. He told me yesterday that rap sucks.

It's fun to see the kids discovering the classic music. I get a kick out of it smile.gif and I keep reminding my son that it improves his cultural literacy!
