So I just got a cyclocross bike. Anyone else do this type of riding?  Recommended rides?

I'm just putting on pavement miles for now, but the plan is to hit gravel roads and trails and just explore and use it as a tool to keep fit.

That's a sweet bike!  I really like the combo of steel frame/carbon fork, sounds like your bike rides similar but is way lighter!

Since we're trading bike pics, here's mine:

Well nearly the end of my first cyclocross season (MFG Woodlawn this weekend, then a couple races in Bellingham left for me) and I can tell you its a great way to get into and stay in shape. I think I've lost 15 lbs and counting.

I have a cyclocross.  I use it as my street bike, and occasionally on gravel - most frequently that would be when doing the Lake Sammamish loop ride (the gravel part has been closed recently).  I've taken it on the Cedar River trail all the way to Landsburg Park.   Are you on Strava?  that's a great app to see what people are up to for rides

I'd really like to do this ride/HAB/ride next year, if any of y'all are interested:

I would ride my lighter road bike with 32mm tires for it, not the bike pictured above.

Thats a sweet bike!  I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to be doing next year for rides (other than the cyclocross season that I will definitely be in on)...but also will need not cut too hard into my climbing/scrambling plans for the summer where I can bring my dog.  But that ride looks cool...or maybe one of the other ones that org does.

I think I'm gonna do this one...just trying to talk myself into the XL.
