Back on track- where can I find TG in SEATTLE? (ie. that other city that's NOT PDX)
-
He is. Unclench, Lionel.

I'm curious as well. Will this continue the momentum Kerry gained in the last debate, or will it swing back to Bush/Cheney? It sounds like it was not so clearly lopsided to push opinion either way- probably the biggest impact will be on the debating strategies for this Friday. Any bets on what those strategies will be? My guess is that Kerry pretty much remains a brainiac talking head, and Bush will try to disarm the 'it's hard work' whine of the last debate with an aw-shucks, I'm just one-of-the-guys type comment.

10pm It's a midnight ride.

Exactly. That would be a servicable starting rack- as you grow, you'll figure out what you can leave behind. I'm still learning.

Ooh, but you fail to notice that the educational deferment is no longer in effect...so it's back down to PFC-Cracked. He's a smart kid; maybe he can do a study for us on the correlation between depleted uranium ingestion and Gulf War Syndrome?

It's worth noting that no-one who has climbed w/ Colin has thrown any doubt on his TR's. That speaks volumes. -
Ok, here goes: A set of Metolius TCUS (#00-#4), Metolius powercams (#5-#10), Bd stoppers (#4-#13), 6 double slings, 4 single slings, 20 neutrinos. Cams = 1630g Nuts = 437g Biners = 720g Slings = 112g Total = 2899g Given that every manufacturer lies about the weight of their gear, you're probably carrying a little over 3kg. Hope that helps.

Being the sad-sack that I am, I won't be able to take off to Smith until Friday evening. Anyone want to join me on a white-knuckle ride?
-
Yup- but that's a long drive for my post-prandial beverage.

NOT BOTTLED!! Does the McMinninmananem place on Queen Anne carry the stuff?

Cheney is smart, but he obviously suckles at the devil's own cock. I wouldn't trust him running a room full of kindergartners, let alone the country. Edwards reminds me of the oldest kid on The Partridge Family.

I was pretty impressed with the keg that Terminal Gravity supplied- tasty stuff! I went looking for in my grocery stores, but couldn't find it. Anyone know where I can find TG brews in the Seattle area?

Personally, I would like to vouch that Ryland is a quiet, considerate Southern gentleman. I have a hard time imagining him getting loud or rowdy. I'm sure it was an error in perceptions.

That's awesome! It linked Jurassic 5 to both DMX and Celine Dion! It's like 'six degrees of kevin bacon'

You tease! I was all excited and everything.

Note in bin Laden book sparks FBI inquiry THE ASSOCIATED PRESS DEMING -- The FBI would like to find a person who checked out a library book about Osama bin Laden. That's because of what someone wrote in the margin of the book. The book is titled "Bin Laden: The Man Who Declared War on America." The handwritten note in the margin is a quote from bin Laden saying, "Hostility toward America is a religious duty, and we hope to be rewarded by god." A citizen reported the comment to the FBI, which served the library district in Whatcom County with a subpoena demanding names and addresses of everyone who checked out the book. But the lawyer for the library, Deborah Garrett, filed a motion to quash the subpoena. The U.S. Attorney's Office withdrew the subpoena before a hearing, but it could be filed again. From the Seattle P.I.

Many apologies in advance- you already know if you'll find this link amusing or not. http://home.earthlink.net/~houval/gopconstrm.mov "It's my job....it's hard work!"

I nominate either SuperSlab or Cinnamon Slab as the racing routes- a bruising good time!

Ken- I've never seen an anchor constructed by girth-hitching the rope to the anchor. I've seen slings girth-hitched, and I use the rope clove-hitched, but I'm a little confused on how to girth-hitch the rope (maybe I'm just slow this morning). Can you direct me to pages in FotH, or to a website that would illustrate this?
