Do you complete that early Yosemite hardcore climber look with the tattered white dress shirt? yup he does.

Sen Kennedy throws some punches! the fun!

deer and elk are a part of the natural enviroment cattle supply us with milk and food and leather. they provide humans with needed things. horses do not. i am glad the federal government is killing off so many of the disgusting beasts.
-
Doesn't beauty count for anything? not when my shoe is covered in horse shit or i have to move aside for a lazy person.

stating humans are more destructive then horeses is dumb logic. of course we are, what does that prove? um nothing. horses in a relative manner or more destructive. they provide nothing to the local enviroment in which they are impacting. they create huge amounts of soil erosion, water pollution and introduce foregin invasive plant species. they tramp where they want and packs of them force out other local animals, deers and other types of animals like this that are natural to the local enviroment are pushed out. horses bring illnesses that do not occur in other non domesticated animals. i still think they are worthless animals and like monster trucks are just an extension of the person who owns, them lack of. they are glue, they are dog food.

actually crack the fish hatchery has just completed a phase in restoring the icicle to a more natural state(albeit homes and the such of course) the removed all structures between the hatchery and the wenatchee river. so maybe they are making some progress, but i doubt nada, snow lake will occur ever. consider it a relic of the past. as the use of heavy equipment is obviouslyt against the law in the wilderness area and without helo support or massive amounts of manual labor the metal will always stay. per a fish hatchery employee.

ONCE UPON A TIME IN MEXICO is the worst movie ever. hands down. there are no redeeming qualities. it sucks.

you know after thinking about all the camalot detractors whom share the fast and lite ethic. isnt fast part of the equation? and if one peice of gear makes you feel more confident then another peice, doesn't that speed you up? and i would say confidence is the most important tool in that little game. plus if that is your style, then you should be in good-excellent physical condition to be able to push yourself to those levels, so 6 oz in weight in the weight vs confidence equation seems quite platry. that said in the end all the cams work to some capacity and i am sure they all can be applied in any situation.

horese were introduced to this country by man. they are not natural upon the landscape. wild burros and horses are the number one natural cause for destruction to public lands. shoot them all and feed them to the homeless.

i dont think so have rode those animals before...seems pretty weak to beat those animals to get what you want from them. and yes i consider using spurs or a whip beating them. i and horses ruin the wilderness. their shit intruduces all sorts of foreign species of grasses and weeds into the wilderness. i think that horse people would be smart enough to figure it out, but i guess not. and why do horse people feel they need to have the right away on a trail? and that i should not run around them. that is utter bullshit. the horse people make the larger impact and should have to respect every user as they expect to get respected. horses are for glue and dog food. and minx that joke is really old and pretty dumb.
-
i think most of the horse people i have ever met thought their use of the animals was the best thing in the world. not too hard to be better then a small minded animal like a horse. horese are dumb, and should be used for glue and dog food, tho i would never feed my dog crap made from a horse! horses suck!

yeah well i prolly wouldnt walk in them...just a thought really. i've had mocs, which i liked cept for wearing out real quick like, and the ascents, which are decent shoes for walking around in. better quality control is always a +
-

really? have had for a year without any stretching issues personally. tho i did not fit them death tight. really good edging shoe and the best one any shoe company has ever made is the sportiva syncro. i cried when i found out they do not make them anymore!!! and i will be sad when mine die!
-
fit is the most important aspect of a shoe, so make sure you find one that fits right. sportiva cobra's are a decent sliiper that edges decent.
-
i refuse to talk about anything i ever climb again, as apprently it is purely ego driven. tho as usual i had fun.
-
schitzy it is a crag. name another crag you can drive your truck right up too in lworth or the rest of the state, i am interested as i am a lazy sack!

I said I had to get back to work but I couldn't resist responding to this minor point that is off topic. Wasn't "loggers ledge" logged because the trees were keeping moss and general filth on the rock? Don't even Midway and Saber have both fixed pins and bolts on them? Weren't the cracks gardened out? Do the climbs that we enjoy today resemble the state in which Beckey and Schoening and thier frieinds found them? When they are leading Midway, how many of today's climbers care whether Fred, in 1954, climbed from the ground up or not? Things evolved from the 1950's, in case you hadn't noticed. People stopped pounding pins and began slipping in nuts. Of course the climbs are cleaner than when FB first hiked up there. Did I miss your point? and things continue to evolve.

distel cant go climbing tommorow. but the weather for index on any of the weather websites is usually about 99% wrong. and there are plenty of routes that stay dry well after a hard rain. sport and gear routes. it also dries relativly quickly as well, so dont discount index.
