I'll try and make it to leavenworth, but we should really have one at Smith too. that's pretty out of character for me, i know. I just got back from dealing w/all of the b.s. at redrocks (anyone who's been knows what I'm talking about), so it really touched a nerve. And I just found out about the $5 fee for using Larabee state park the other day .

Yeah, there posted all over S&M strange body piercing sites! No, actually I am doing pretty good. I'm really bored, etc... but there's a lot to life besides walking or climbing. I'm rediscovering that it's mostly spray out there too. I know I'll climb again, and I'm looking foreward to starting chiro-school and a new life in the fall. The only lesson in life that I have learned is that nothing is sacred, and there's always something to laugh about. Humor is what makes us human. Fine, screw you for being so stuck up. Here's how you want it, here's what you get: Mango with Pineapple Ginger Sauce Serves 4 Buy the mangoes a day or two ahead of time to allow them to ripen. 1 fresh pineapple 1 vanilla bean, split in half 2 tablespoons sugar 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger 2 mangoes 1 tablespoon crystallized ginger, roughly chopped 1. Remove top and skin from pineapple. Cut lengthwise into quarters; remove core. Chop three quarters of pineapple into large chunks; process in a food processor until smooth. Strain through a sieve or colander into a small saucepan. Discard solids. 2. Add vanilla bean, sugar, and ginger to the pan, and cook over medium heat, stirring often, until slightly thickened, about 8 minutes. 3. Meanwhile, dice remaining quarter of pineapple, and place in a small bowl. Cut mangoes in half lengthwise, angling the knife slightly to cut around the elongated pit. Cut out and discard pit. Peel mangoes, and discard the peel. Cut mangoes into bite-size pieces, and divide among four plates. 4. Remove pineapple sauce from heat. Scrape the seeds from vanilla bean, stir seeds into sauce, and discard the pod. Combine the warm sauce with the diced pineapple, and spoon sauce over each plate of sliced mango. Sprinkle with crystallized ginger, and serve.

I would not select a Trango, DMM, or Grivel tool. I love my Cobras, but they do have a wide shaft. OTher small shafted tools may include, Iain, Trask, and Necronomicon.

Don't know why I didn't think of asking here earlier. I need, along w/2 other people, a house, apt, shed, or closet to crash in for the next 2-3 months (July-Sept). Anyone know of any places for rent in Bellingham this summer? Concidering 2 of us are guides and gone 21 days out of the month, we only need 2 rooms and want to keep it under $250 per person/month. Also, I'm moving to Portland at the end of Sept for 4 years. Anyone got a place to rent that's cheap? -Mike

Now, here's an amazing 1st ascent Erik and I did,"GroundCrack" Next, here's the climb "Atman" an amazing 5.10 crack next to another great crack "Yin and Yang." I'm following this one after being tuckered from yinyang: The next three are from the Resolution Arete. It's a 23+/- pitch climb (the longest,worst,and bestclimb in redrocks). The line is the arete that starts bottom center left and heads to the summit. Necronomicon is following above Jay just below the roof pitch. The other photo is us bivying on pitch 20 cuz the descent is hard to find in the dark. Look how Money necro is and how much shit we have. Wonder why we bivied? Jason Martin is the one on the right.
