I almost never loose my toe nail. On the other hand one of my big toe nails is three times the thickness of a normal toe nail. It bugs me and I wish it would go away. It's a major pain to trim it; I feel like I need to buy a special cutter to deal with it.

I remember that. I believe about 70 (I might have the # wrong)chairs with skiers on them went backwards through the bull wheel before they shut the thing down and rescued everybody else still sitting on chairs. All the rad stuff happened at Hyak; I don't think anybody got very hurt. What's even more scary is the reason the Mountaineers high speed rope tow was shut down. All I'm going to say on that is do not wear a scarf while riding a high speed rope tow especially when riding by yourself at night.

I seem to remember both Minx and Archie at that party. Bowling in basement was a highlight; I've still got two bowling balls. I've never met KKKKKKKK or Extremo Mountain Dude...or the Rooster...at least I don't remember meeting them.

Dru you're obviously not a good enough climber to do anything other than granite climbing. I am curious what routes you've done in the Canadian Rockies. Robson? Oubliette? Or have you only been to the Banff film festival?

Have you ever heard of Edith Cavell, Robson, or the Tonquin valley? And that's just a few.

I've had a number of fights with my insurance company over paying for hospital bills for physical therapy. I'm sure after the hospital bills my insurance company put me high on their target list. I've even got a bit of upcoming surgery that after initial rejection my insurance company sent me a letter stating something like, "we weren't wrong to reject you, but I guess we'll pay this time." I only got that letter after a written appeal signed by me and my family. As far as I'm concerned I'm voting for national health insurance. Insurance shouldn't be a private business who's only concern is making money.

I've never been on the Carbon river side in winter, so I don't know about access in the winter. When I have climbed LR I've always done it via the Emmons side of the mountain. If you do the Emmons approach the road is gated just where HWY 410 reaches the turn off to Crystal Mountain. There is a snow park right there.

I hear there's a new bar in the back room of the restaurant at Index on HWY 2. From all accounts the owners are trying to live up to the past glory of the old Index Tavern. I really want to go if I hear they have a one man band back. The old Index tavern was the best ever. As for Sparks I think you have to hope the Index town store is open.
