    Kerry in Vietnam

You heard Kerry say he has defended his country and took from that that he calls himself a war hero? Jesus, Greg, thats a mighty big leap. Media has nothing to do with how you intepret the candidates huh. All your knowledge is first-hand? Man, wish I could say I have the same privilege.
  3. WAR (White Aryan Resistance) doesn't argue for racial superiority? Put the pipe down Greg. You've been sniffing the snuggles too long.
  4. No, Ivan, please don't.
  5. Will, I've joined 6mm to a rap rope using the EKD. I prefer using a biner because the biner follows the rap line all the way down. I've never gotten the biner stuck; usually just whipping the rope avoids any obstacles. I've also rapped off a single strand of 6mm cord before. Scary but defnintely do-abble if you add an extra biner and re-direct to increase the friction. Also, using 5mm or stronger leaves you with something you can cut rap slings with if you need them.

    Kerry in Vietnam

Gee, I musta missed that Kerry is basing his entire campaign on his war record!
  7. and it IS what she was made for.

Where are the sites lauding Bush's war record? I bet that 99-to-1 figure works both ways. What exactly are you trying to convince people about?
  9. I'll be there.
  10. I've used this method before, albeit with one slight modification. The thought of trusting my life to a knot jammed against a rap ring gives me nightmares (not to mention the potential of getting that knot jammed into the ring so hard its stuck) so I tie a figure 8 in the end of the rap rope (after threading it through the ring) then clip a biner into it. I then clip the biner to the free end. I tie my pull cord to the biner so that when I pull the cord the biner slides down the rap line.
  11. Don't assume I haven't checked various sources out, Cracked (even the ones you posted). I'm not defending Moore's arguments as much as arguing that the sources you cite are doing exactly what you are criticizing Moore for doing. I didn't much care for F9/11 but I don't see Moore doing anything the right isn't doing as well. p.s. Will's posts are almost always intelligent.
  12. Cracked, you seem to do exactly what Moore does: amass amounts of propoganda and innuendo in defense of your own position. I don't see how this makes you any more ethical than Moore. Clark only admitted his mistake after the film was made. Regardless of who made the decision to fly the saud family out of the US, it happened under Bush's watch. Why you inject CLinton into this discussion is disingenuous. We are talking Bush and Moore here, not Clinton.
  13. Where is the dishonesty in the portrayal of Bush's inaction in the classroom? He sat on his ass looking stupid. I don't see any misrepresentation there. I went to that bowling for truth website you cited and its loaded with innuendo as well. I hope you enjoyed your dose of propoganda as well.
  14. I second R&R.
  15. Round and Round
  16. I don't recommend fabric softeners, actually. They can irritate sensitive skin (like mine). A good compromise, for those of you who like that spring-fresh smell, is to use HALF a dryer sheet. An added benefit to not using fabric softeners on your fine dress shirts, gentlemen, is that they take spray starch better and maintain that starched look longer. More tips next week. Greg_W (Yep, the "W" is for "washing") Real men use dry cleaners for their dress shirts.
  17. Whew--I thought Greg had been banned again. But I gotta wonder what the NRA has to do with the first amendment. Freedom of speech? Second amendment maybe but not the first. Now, NOLSe could invoke the first amendment as justification for his accessorizing faux-pas.
  18. Is she peeing in that cup?
  19. I find this offensive.
  20. Its called the Trail's End Marathon and it starts in Seaside. I couldn't find any recent information on it but you may have better results than I. Its held in late Feb or early March.
  21. Only groove happening in this thread is the groove between thumb and forefinger.
  22. That would be cool. Would you actually be climbing or just going for beer? Let me know and I'll bring my gear to work.
  23. According to the guide, the obvious descent gully sees a lot of traffic though.
  24. Does one use a soft bristle or a rigid one for brushing shit?
