Sorry, no link between Iraq and Al Quaida, or Afghanistan for that matter. The terrorist connection that is touted is that because he might have weapons, Saddam Hussein might sometime in the future give them to terrorists. He hasn't yet. The FAC guys are actually pretty badass, the guys who go along with the Seals have to go through the Seal training and pass it, along with all the other schools they have to go to for targeting and coordinating attacks.

I had a girl at work approach me thinking I was anti-war along with the vocal minority at the UW. I told her I though Bush was an idiot but that I was for the war. Unfortunately she started arguing with me, and like everyone else I have argued with, she was very sadly uneducated about the issue and had listened to too much anti-war rhetoric. She was talking about sanctions and oil and all sorts of garbage that wasn't true. Like most, including that poor human shield idiot I saw on TV in Bahgdad, she didn't know the history of Saddam and his Baath party, how he came into power, what he did on his first day as president that he showed on national TV, why he attacked Iran, the Kurds, and finally Kuwait. Listen I don't care if you are against the war, in fact it would say a lot about our society if we all were for it, but seriously make sure you COMPLETELY understand the issues at hand, the history behind it, and know the fact from fiction.

A terrorist is a terrorist no matter what nationality they are, they want to kill people to prove a point that is in fact pointless. People who support these people are also terrorists, you don't have to be the one flying the plane to be guilty. These are the same people who, to the horror of US generals watching overhead with a Predator aircraft, drug off a critically injured American special forces soldier that fell out of helicopter and executed him. Tell me, what is more disturbing, seeing a bunch of terrorists getting what they deserve or seeing people jumping out of a hundered story building because they would rather live their last moments accelerating at the ground at 9.8m/s^2 then being burned alive by thousands of pounds of Jet-A.

Imagine the shock and horror on Jared's and the other Subway crew's faces as Trask's mom deepthroats a 6 foot sub (w/ extra mayo of course) to break the record.

Trask's mamma so fat she lost 200 pounds on the subway diet but still weighs 500 pounds.

This show is free, the other was not. We have decided to ease up a bit on pay to enter shows but request that they ask to clear it with us first. I did end up apologizing to the Mazamas guy, hopefully that won't tarnish my asshole status too much.

I think you've totally misinterpreted the purpose of his book. Climbing is dangerous. He is addicted to climbing. Thus he's addicted to danger. I mean come on. He is still married to the same woman from college. I think the point is that after he has lost all these friends on expeditions and came close many times to losing his family, he still kept climbing. I think the reason he dwells on the fact that he has had a number of partners die is that it bothers him. How can you call it bragging? There are actually a lot of books out there that people write for themselves, used as a form or rehabilitation of sort, it just happens that people like you and I buy them.
