  1. Nice Fred - Thanks for the pics.
  2. Yup, very excited! I think Smed was over with the Skagit Alpine Club. If I know him the only thing he was getting on was a bottle of beer. I know they did some top rope stuff but not exactly sure where. The class did most of their climbing at Peshastin and partying at Icicle.
  3. It's on like donkey kong - Why would you perpetuate such lies and trick people into driving all the way out there and crowd the crags? It rains there constantly!
  4. Even when it rains there is stuff to do at Erie. My last TR was from a rainy day at Erie. I thought it was funny that I always say it never rains there and as I drove out that Saturday to meet my buddies under broken clouds in Bellingham, I took the turn onto 20 and was then douched with rain of near biblical proprtions.
  5. Right on Bryan! Looks like some good stuff. Smedley was on that side of the hills this past weekend (in the canyon). I on the other hand am on Baby watch...Megan is due anytime. My trips are limited right now to no more than an hour from home and within cell service.
  6. I had guessed it to be some form of rigging plate or friction device. I really have no clue though and so far unable to make a positive ID.
  7. Thanks, I will check out the link. Yes you are correct about it being from the CL add. There were some interesting items. Definitely some good adds to my personal collection. Like the unused Chouinard Alpine Hammer.
  8. I have a red anodized aluminum plate made by MSR. It is approx 3" x 2" x 1/2" thick. It has 5 holes machined into it and a blue anodized set screw that enters from the short end. I bought this in a lot of "old" gear today, but I have no idea what it is.
  9. Nice! Glad to see someone getting on some D-town.
  10. Sweet! Got me some ordered. Thanks for the heads up!
  11. Glad to hear it Mark! Not trying to be a jerk just speaking from experience. Sorry if I offended your sensibilities Josh. Good luck to you both this weekend whatever you end up doing. Cheers, Tyson
  12. http://cascadeclimbers.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/954181/Climbing_anywhere#Post954181 Coincidence? Be kind to your partners or you may end up with none.
  13. Was thinking of a pub club meet and greet for any climbing folks interested in having a brew and meeting other local climbers looking to get out. Met a few people last month during the inception of a contact list and would like to grow the community. Wednesday 4/28 - Green Frog (or other venue based on input) around 6:00pm What do you say folks?
  14. Right on Dan! You are slaying the shiznit this year! I am jealous.
  15. Lord Winchester - Your online persona and ability to maintain theme are of much interest and entertainment to me. Thank you.
  16. That is the biggest laugh I have ever gotten from this site. Thanks for making my day!
