    Gaper Day!

The point of gaper day is to act like an imbecile with your buddies. I don't need a special day for that. Seems like it happens most times I go skiing with certain individuals.

Not that I give a fuck about this shitbag's rights, but it is rather ironic how these far-right Republicans like Graham advocate for ignoring estsblished Constitutional protections of a criminal defendant; trusting the state to prosecute U.S. citizens as foreign combatants without any oversight. But when it comes to 2nd Amendment rights, they won't compromise on the most ambiguous clause of the Bill of Rights, and won't even trust the government to have a national gun ownership registry. But I guess, like most politicians 99% of the time, they're just representations of their fucked up constituency.

Hard to fathom what would make a relatively sane person decide that doing something like this is a good idea.
  11. Don't forget Pumpline on Careno. You can TR it too if you don't want to lead it.

I see. You are obviously trying to throw me off guard by attempting to disprove my point by providing information that substantiates my point. Interesting technique.

This was an example of knee jerk law enforcement, not effective law enforcement. Such shotgunning is a classic waste of limited investigative resources - which makes the case move slower, not faster. National origin is just another form of racial profiling. If law enforcement had a credible tip to look out for a Saudi national, they might question some. There was no such tip, and tearing this persons apartment apart and terrorizing his roommate for 5 hours went a little beyond that. Investigators have plenty of evidence to wade through right now. Misguided crap like this only delays the process. It may be who we are, but its not who we should be. The details of the incident so far indicates a small group or loan wolf, and probably a domestic one, according to law enforcement. It's early, of course, but I'm going to take their lead on that rather than recycle the trainwreck that was our post 911 response. Hey folks, Freedom isn't Free.

Sad and unfair? Yes. But I would rather have authorities investigate all possible suspects, even at the horrible risk of coming across as non-politically correct. Was it not Saudi nationals who perpetrated the 911 attacks? Furthermore, this investigation apparently was premised on this individual's national origin, not his skin color or race.

  21. Terrific job you guys. Such a sick line in an amazing setting.
  22. Cheap booze AND hookers?

  24. But we've got clean water and cheap 'lectricity though!
  25. If you are interested in doing longer, more obscure routes, then yes. Otherwise no. I brought a light rack and never used it. For example, there's a huge chunk of limestone right outside of the town we stayed in, Finestrat, called the Puig Campana. Its a beautiful piece of rock with tons of long routes which do require a rack.
