  1. they ain't no destination, but they sure do charge destination prices! a daily lift ticket will be around $70 now. I can't wait!
  2. cool, thanks!
  3. thanks a ton! I have half ropes, so toproping long pitches is no problem the weekend of the 20th is starting to look very promising. I would lead (hangdog) rotc but I don't have enough thin hands through fingers pieces, and I'm not looking to run it out a ton. is rotc overhanging?
  4. nice work, it's a shame you didn't get to use the bigbro, how was triple couliors on dragontail looking?
  5. cool! how hard is it to traverse over from EO of WT and set up a toprope?
  6. google is a neat tool, found this: http://www.washingtonclimbers.org/Climbing/Tumwater.htm will midnight be climbable before april first? I'm looking to do easter overhang, wild traverse, and toprope rotc and a couple other 5.11's when will the snow melt in there? is it good right now?
  7. I want to get up to M rock sometime this spring/fall, but I know that it's closed to climbing pretty much every year. when does this closure start/end? also, is R.O.T.C. stiff for the grade?
  8. I'm in oly, I can get a ride up with someone if I get a partner. send me a PM.
  9. leggy chicks who dangle upside down in climbing gyms. hell, I'd buy one.
  10. yeah, try some smaller routes first, el cap is truly massive, photos really don't do it justice. do some shorter aid routes first, like washington column and the NE face o half dome, before you even think about doing mescalito, you might be able to scrape your way up the nose. I really want to get into aid climbing and go to yosemite to climb some big walls, but I wouldn't consider el cap until I have done many other multipitch walls where I could prefect my skills in order to move fast and efficiently. like do the upper town wall routes several times, do WA column, leaning spire, reg route, then zodiac or the salethe. don't rush into stuff, you'll climb longer.
  11. my dumb ass forgot to throw it in my pack before I walked over to godzilla.
  12. If anyone found a copy below GNS area today (saturday) it'd be awesome if you could get it back to me.
  13. nope, wasn't there last night, but I know josh and drew. I'll split gas if you want to go to index for tomorrow. I have a rack and half ropes. give me a call 360 789 5492 Keenan
  14. cool, I'm the 6'6" guy who can't start half the boulder problems.
  15. might be interested, Might go up that way tomorrow. I'm also in Oly. do you climb at the gym?
  16. now I can see that, the visible drainage going up to the right is snow creek. there's still snow.
  17. wait, is that pic up on SCW? when'll that come in? is it really that dry in leavenworth?
  18. what'd yall think Index will be looking like this saturday?
  19. and you found on your gander?...
  20. at Schuman there'll be some drips of water in the afternoon, but that'll all disappear at night and in early morning, bring some extra fuel, but it's totally feasible to not have to melt snow for drinking water.
  21. or sat/sun?
  22. tie the rope into a bunch of slipknots, then it won't get as tangled.
  23. when I did the N face we descended that wrong gully and managed to realize our mistake and traverse to the notch and make the raps, no matter that we ran out of daylight.
  24. The NE Butt is more fun!
  25. even if there was rock it wouldn't be bad, it's like 4th class-low 5th. simul from the top of the first pitch to the highest tree, and lookout for bootieable gear, last time I got a new bd nut!
