I did not realize there were so many d-bags leaving duct tape just laying around. Seems like common sense for the second to pick it up. Guess I just have this false notion that climbers are better stewards of the land than the general public. I suppose it’s the tragedy of the commons….. My wife works in recreation and is constantly bitchin bout having to pick up crap that others discard figuring "hey someone else will pick it up"

How did you deduce said trash was from an aid climber Seen em in action or perhaps the presence of cig butts? I have seen free climbers use duct tape to protect the rope when they are working a route or bringing up a second.... But yeah pack out ur tape and butts

You wont need a rope on the Inter Glacier at this time of year. Instead of getting on the lower Emmons where you would need a rope stay on the Inter to the top of the Prow then take the forth class scramble down to Schurman. Staying right when the trail splits down the forth class is a bit easier . Reverse on the way down and enjoy the long glissade down the Inter

Well the weather looks like shiz for Rainier this weekend…. I don’t have time for the Capitan, but could be talked into something on the Column or just some free stuff. Could leave around noon on Thur and need to be back sometime late Monday. U got my digits

Those little bad boyz are nothing to screw around with. Just had a co-worker come down with lyme disease after spending a day humpin brush. Guess you have like 72 hours to get the treatment or ur screwed. From what I hear is most doctors on this side of the hill are clueless they feel it's not a problem round here. Another co-worker went to the hospital with a tick in a jar and a bulls eye on his back and was denied treatment. Moral of the story have ur significant other check ya down if ur in a tick area. Never know the check down may lead to a little afternoon action provide u are not covered in ticks. Suppose then ur getting lucky twice Thanks for the reminder Bill as I am bound to run into those guys this weekend.
