  1. Nah, I've already got one of these: Shooting for 800+ mph. At almost 60 feet long, parking's a bitch. We'll see. This thing only puts out 52,000 hp, less than half of the 130,000 hp of the twin engine monster above that broke the sound barrier.
  2. And if that doesn't quite get you to work on time....

  4. Well, if it's safety you're after....

  8. I fell asleep during it. Didn't bother to finish it the next day.
  9. New Old school:
  10. I'd like to be riding this little mama:
  11. Am I the only dork on the block that rides one of these?
  12. This is what I'd rather be riding: Moto Guzzi Breva. Shaft drive, fuel injection, no valve adjustments, good for touring.
  13. Outdoor clothing is lighter, cheaper (thanks to the interwebs), and performs better than ever. The market's so glutted nowadays that their's always something on sale, if you're patient. As for fashion, well, considering the sorry appearance of this wearer, that's never been much of a consideration. As for Patagucchi in particular, they've been overpriced for about 20 years now. Nothing new under the sun.
  14. 2000 Suzuki VZ800. Likes: Comfy for long rides, not too heavy, cheap, simple. Tops out at 110 mph. Dislikes: Carburated (prefer FI), chain (prefer shaft), requires some valve adjustment. Really heavy cantilevered muffler fell off on a dirt road due to vibration fatigue (poor design). Dead spot in carburator when accelerating through mid range rpms. Not enough ground clearance to really lean it over when turning. Gas tank could be a little larger.
  15. 2000 Suzuki VZ800. Mine's got a new set of Cobra pipes cuz the original ones, shown here, fell off on a dirt road in Death Valley:
  16. Three toes: It's a tapir.
  17. My wife worked on the Hard Candy project. Glad you enjoyed it. Shaun of the Dead. OK, maybe not from this year, but the best movie I saw. Hot Fuzz (same director, more current) came in a close second.
  18. I got my motorcycle running after it sat in the garage for over a year. Note to self: don't do that again. Ready for a road trip to Hell's Canyon. Good times.
  19. Yes, I know, but everyone else does, and that's why I write them.
  20. Nice rationalization with just the right spin to make it sound "right". The ACLU stifles freedom with the force of law and threat to ruin lives and bankrupt organizations. They don't free, they oppress through the force of law. And they've affected far more people and groups than George Bush. This is getting more precious by the minute....Whet our whistles with some historical examples...don't be a tease. Feel free to employ the full weight of your lexicon.
  21. Trashie doesn't get any action. It explains a lot about him/it. dOOd, I already told you last night that I couldn't cum cuz your asshole isn't tight enough. Jesus, let it go.
  22. and 'boring'.
  23. who's hindsight? Nice cross thread reference. Well done.
  24. Thanks to everyone's favorite Phi Beta Kappa ("No, I'm really smart...I AM, you assclown!") for providing some minor entertainment here. Love the 'despicable and vile' line; were you sporting a 19th century English gentleman's waistcoat and topper when that issued forth from your indignant countenance, Master K? Extortion, OK, but using the weight of law? Even the current administration would find such a thing unthinkable! The ACLU's Seattle staff really gets a kick out of this kind of stuff.
