So.... ....a friend wants to start his own business. He's got a job, so we he wants to get laid off, and he knows lay offs are coming. He goes to his boss and volunteers to be laid off. They lay 100 people off. Many of them are strong producers; there seems to be no merit based pattern to the cuts. He gets a promotion, a raise, and a new office. This kind of speaks to the 'abstraction' discussion in another thread. Clearly, the majority of larger businesses in the U.S. have gone a bit too 'abstract' in their thinking, this company obviously being one of them. Contrast this to the two person business I'm currently working in partnership with. Everything they do matters to the bottom line; no bullshit meetings where attendees simply warm a seat for an hour while surfing the web, no Total Quality Control programs, no Diversity Academy, no taking it to the next level. Just a thought in the New Age of Scarcity.

I have to agree with Braydon. I am also pro-life unless something bad happend to the person. The only time I would consider abortion, would have to be if it had been a young girl who had been raped. They shouldn't have to deal with such a terrible thing,at such a young age. Her life would never be the same. But if it were an appropriate age, and the person was aware of the results of there actions, then I don't think they should be allowed to abort. They knew the risks, so they should take responsibility for there actions. I know a lady who didn't use Pro or BC and she had like 8 abortions!!
