I've also purchased the cilo 60. I just can't seem to trust a trip to it yet. I've been using a Dead Bird pack that has never failed me, but is too heavy. The cilo is light. It did wiegh in more than the web site promised. They said 3lb 3oz now they say 3.8 pounds, which is close to what mine weighed at 4.7lbs or 75.5oz. Good customer service via e-mail and phone. Now, I just have to get out there with it!

Climbed in September 2001, The mountain was official closed - Ha Ha, just try to close a mountain! The crowds are much less then. We stayed at the village at the train station for off season low prices. If you need anymore info PM me.

Climb: Mt Hood-South Side Date of Climb: 2/9/2006 Trip Report: We started from Wy'East at 0400Am, Summit at 11:20AM Returned at 3:00PM Had one very slow person that added about 1-2 Hours. The chute was lousy with mixed very hard ice and soft snow. I used a second tool and then had to down climb about 100ft,If you slipped there it would be fast long ride! Be very careful. Other areas were great, we had firm snow all the way, even all the way back to the lodge. Very Windy but not too cold.
