    WARNING TO ALL

Damnit... All I can think now is: "Recreation Equiment Inc... Why buy a biner anywhere else?" Sort of the same retail model too!
  2. I've had more days skiing or snowboarding this year (and in more places) than in years gone by and yet to buy a lift ticket this season. I am completely sold on backcountry skiing or splitboaring. -r

    WARNING TO ALL

It's Space Foundation Approved?!?! So I googled the Space Foundation and the benefit is: "As a Certified Partner in space marketing, you will be part of a unique group promoting space goods and services, and committed to spreading the message that space technology is all around us." Yeah, I am going to look for that certification as a deciding factor on my next purchase! -r

The cynic in me wants to know how many more millions of acres of rain forest would be cut down to raise cows to poop. Would we then genetically engineer cows to produce more poop? What about Canadian Geese? They seem to shit a lot? -r

    Find the Dru

Dru is the dude looking out the outhouse... or perhaps just getting fresh air.

I see Chuck Norris propositioning a young girl in the lower left.
  11. We used to duct tape blue bags on their butts. Seemed to be OK. Seriously though... having my youngest about a year from moving out, kids are a blessing at all stages. They are not always easy... Congrats -r

  15. The Geko also comes with 4 interactive games preloaded. That way you don't need to pack your GameBoy on the next alpine adventure. -r
  16. Here's a quote that might be taken out of context. Anyhow, I think he really died trying to master thermogenesis. -r
  17. 33. The Blue Meanie 5c*** This problem climbs the wall above the slabby rock at the top of the path. Start at a jug and use one of 2 or 3 different ways to gain an inset sloper below a bulge. Finish leftwards on good jugs. A little unnerving, spotter useful.
  18. The AT Boot\Mtn Plate setup kept my split off eBay! It was like day and night skining. I bought some Dynafit TLT4 AT boots. These are light and not so monster stiff that they are unmanageble coming down. -r

I am glad that dadgum chicken Boo-Boo didn't have teeth, might-ah drawed blood when cuzin wilma did mouth to beak.
  22. Speaking of mountaineering boots and split boards. I've used the Voile SD adapter with limied success with mounaineering plastics and great success with AT boots. Has anyone found one model or another of mountaineering boot to be better for splitboarding? My issue was with Scarpa Alphas and doing heel sides. They have a large V notch in the back. Thanks. -r

  25. We left T-Line at 04:30, and saw no less than 10 people returning for the reasons described above. We left in misty cinditions. Snow conditions on the Palmer area were very firm with crusty ice but skinable. The mountain was clear by 06:30 and conditions were sunny at sunrise. Unfortunatly, we had to turn early not due to weather but a health issue with someone in the party. Snow conditions improved as the sun hit the snow. Skiing down was a fairly icy at first. There were plenty of people there Sunday and I am sure someone else can share conditions all the way up. I anxiously await the next high pressure system It would also be nice to get a little more fresh this coming week. -r
