And yes with my background in science and medicine I know well enough that one really does have to cross the line to be found unfit to practice before a professional licensing board, even more so on the basis of fraud. Facts must be found by the trier of fact, but I guess you're more of an expert (both in terms of knowing the "facts" of this case and medicine in general) than most, enough so that your natural reaction was what it was. Mine was total outrage.

I'd just suggest that since the use of "ing" and gerunds instead of active verbs and actual nouns is somewhat poor form, use "mountaineer" and "alpinist" for the nouns and active verbs--I'd use "climb" or whatever verb best describes what they are dong at the time-- when the proponents actually climb or do anything.

First, there really are horrible things done by horrible people (or just the demented, delusional or indifferent) so why not focus on those REAL problems and stop trying to pass yourself off as some sort of admirable dissenter (there are lots of real ones out there). It was part of a larger war that had been going on in Afghanistan for years, no coincidence Ahmad Shah Massoud was assassinated just before, one of many more than the casualties of Al Qaeda in the states. So try to understand there has been a huge death toll and a whole lot of suffering beyond 911 and these folks deserve to be respected too. Howdy, just looking for any advice on a good, relatively cheap vitamin/herbal supplement. I'm not looking for anything with a really crazy high dose of anything, but would like to have few good herbal and natural food based ingredients as well. I have a decent diet, could be better, but not too bad, and am training and exercising pretty heavily. Not adverse to taking two pills but no interest in multiple pills due to risk and expense. Thanks!

Yeah that's why I ALWAYS wear eye protection, including Oakley sunglasses or regular tinted safety shades. Kinda blows my mind how many folks--especially ice climbers--do not protect their eyes. There are some pretty low key tints that one can use in almost any light condition that also protect the eye from the sun. As for Lasik--one of the best things I ever did! Doc made me promise I'd always wear shades and I am really enjoying being able to do that (contacts were impossible here in Wyo.).

True about that TVK, but what I do is offer the NOLS students whiskey, beer and/or pills and ask them how much money they have (you should see some of their faces) while the instructors stare at the gun, priceless! As for the boy scouts, the lads equate firearms with authority, so when I tell them not to listen to anything the leaders say because they are idiots, the lads smile ear to ear and ditto what I said about the NOLS instructors. Also priceless. And yes, it does help you yell at charging bears far more menacingly and they see in your eyes you mean it.

Gee yeah several hundred rounds worth and Gaston Glock himself thought it a bit much for small hands in that his company designed and manufactured the "short frame" model 29 to address its ergonomics. Kinda like how a lot of people prefer the 19/23/32 to the 17/22/31!

Wheelie guns have their place but they aren't any more reliable than most automatics (and a case can be made that new wheelies are made with trashy MIM parts). I carry a J-frame sometimes but it's largely dependent on what I'm wearing. If I can help it I carry a large frame auto. Most people are situationally blind and won't notice even an open carried pistol. True to a point, but wheel guns are very safe as you: 1. Can tell looking at it if its loaded. 2. Need a heavy trigger pull or a deliberate hammer cock ( ). 3. Can't spray and pray. 4. Don't have a safety.
